A little locomotive with a big dream—and a few distractions.

Tootle dreams of becoming a Flyer between New York and Chicago, but chasing butterflies through the meadow is hard to resist! Before this young locomotive can reach his goal, he must learn an important lesson: stay on the tracks, no matter what.

First published in 1945, Tootle brings classic railway charm to storytime. A sweet gift for a little train enthusiast, or a familiar favorite to share with the next generation.
