Big ears. A long trunk. A little encouragement.

When a parrot teases Sooki about his ears, nose, and wrinkled skin, the little elephant begins to wonder if there’s something wrong with how he looks. But meeting other elephants helps him see himself differently—and soon he’s dancing with joy!

The Saggy Baggy Elephant pairs Gustaf Tenggren’s classic illustrations with a reassuring story about belonging and learning to appreciate yourself. A treasured Little Golden Book to share when your little one needs a reminder that differences are something to celebrate.
